Background

Developed in-house, GRIPS was designed for the purpose of producing statistics and reports in line with the National Packaging Covenant. The software maintains control of all data onsite and ensures minimal disruption to core activities, while at the same time alerting firms of potential cost savings in managing their waste. GRIPS has been used internally by our staff for this purpose for several years.

More recently, in response to demand from a number of clients, it was decided to develop GRIPS on a commercial basis, with assistance from Enterprise Ireland. The product is already being used by a number of Irish companies to prepare and manage their half-yearly statistics and will shortly be rolled out in UK and Australia.
